About BEETLEJUICE JR: Adapted from the full-length Broadway hit musical Beetlejuice, the ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in this edgy and irreverent musical comedy based on Tim Burton’s beloved film. Beetlejuice tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, her new house is haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium, and the biggest sandworm Broadway has ever seen.

About ALICE IN WONDERLAND JR: When young Alice finds herself in a strange world where everything seems upside down, she must find her way home…and find herself along the way. As she travels through Wonderland, she encounters all of the iconic characters that audiences have come to love: including the ever-tardy White Rabbit, the grinning Cheshire Cat, a cool Caterpillar, the wacky Mad Hatter, and the hot-tempered Queen of Hearts. Alice in Wonderland JR. features Disney favorites such as “The Golden Afternoon,” “The Unbirthday Song,” and “Painting the Roses Red” along with brand-new songs, including music from the 2010 live-action film.

At Opening Night Theater, we focus on community, confidence, and character. Our after school musical theatre program offers theatre fundamentals, scene work, movement, choreography, singing, and more!

Our crew will have the opportunity to assist with set design, wardrobe, tech, makeup, and stage management.

Rehearsals, as well as the final performances, will be held at The Los Angeles Theatre Center (operated by the Latino Theater Company), at 514 S Spring St, Los Angeles, CA 90013.
