ON! Theater's GREASE (1PM)

Join Opening Night Theater as we take a musical spin through the 1950's with Rydell High's hot-rodding "Burger Palace Boys" and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking "Pink Ladies" in bobby sox and pedal pushers. Head "greaser" Danny Zuko and new girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their "Summer Nights" as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as "Greased Lightnin'," "It's Raining on Prom Night," and "Born to Hand Jive," recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation.

Our summer cast of 3rd-12th grade students put this production together in just *3* weeks!

Guests are encouraged to come to the show in their favorite 1950's attire!

Show runtime: Approximately 90 minutes with one 15-minute intermission.

Doors will open 20 minutes prior to the start of the show.

Food & drink are not permitted inside the theatre.

Parking:

Parking at Barnsdall Park is on a first come, first served basis. Free parking is available in the Lower Parking Lot, on the hillside at the entrance of the park (with cars parked only on the north side facing downhill), on top of the hill (north and west sides on one side only), and south side (on one side only) to the stop sign before the turnaround. After aforementioned areas are filled all vehicles, whether in the park for a theatre or other event will be directed to use offsite parking.
