Matilda The Musical JR. (5PM)

Opening Night Theater brings this classic, imaginative Roald Dahl tale to life onstage with the students of GALA. Young Matilda Wormwood spins stories and stands up to bullies, but can she avoid getting sent to the chokey by the wretched Agatha Trunchbull? This is a story about raising up the smallest voices and fighting for what's right. 

Our cast consists of middle/high school students from the Girls Acedmic Leadership Academy, in addition to our student-run crew.

Show runtime: Approximately 90 minutes with one 15-minute intermission.

Doors will open 20 minutes prior to the start of the show.

Food & drink are not permitted inside the theatre.

Masks are strongly recommended inside the venue.

Parking:

Parking at Barnsdall Park is on a first come, first served basis. Free parking is available in the Lower Parking Lot, on the hillside at the entrance of the park (with cars parked only on the north side facing downhill), on top of the hill (north and west sides on one side only), and south side (on one side only) to the stop sign before the turnaround. After aforementioned areas are filled all vehicles, whether in the park for a theatre or other event will be directed to use offsite parking.
